Dance

Dance in Christian worship embodies a profound expression of faith, joy, and celebration. Rooted in biblical traditions of jubilant praise and worship, dance serves as a vibrant testament to the glory of God.

Whether through liturgical dance in traditional church settings or contemporary expressions in evangelical gatherings, dancers convey spiritual narratives and truths. Movements become prayers, gestures of repentance, and declarations of faith.

Dance, as worship, transcends mere movement. It goes beyond cultural and denominational boundaries, offering a universal language of devotion that uplifts hearts and glorifies our Savior.

Dr. Kanisha Bennett, founder of Anointed Feet Dance, leads as the artistic director, choreographer, and primary instructor. Drawing from her extensive training in contemporary/modern, jazz, hip hop, ballet, and African dance, Dr. Bennett infuses her instruction with biblical principles and a commitment to excellence.

The mission of Anointed Feet Dance, (AFD), encompasses three key objectives: 1) to foster stronger communities through dance, 2) enhance the cognitive and physical well-being of dancers, and 3) promote a culture of academic pursuit.

Through the rhythm of their steps and the flow of their motions, every movement is a gesture of surrender that speaks the language of the soul inviting viewers to communicate with God, our Creator.

You won't want to miss what God has in store from Anointed Feet Dance at the 2024 Worship Training Camp!
